T50 Stratford

Back home in Devon from the weekend in Stratford. Lost a Hub Cap and Embelisher on the M5 after hitting a pothole about 5 miles from Bristol, the Embelisher went towards the crash barrier, and the Hub cap to the hard shoulder without hitting any cars! If any of you see these on your way down South c...

I've had a similar problem in the past. It was simply the rods getting all tangled up. They needed aligning correctly, but a short term fix was a 5/8 ring spanner at side of box to persuade the linkage to free. 8) Sorry to be picky Tony but its is a 9/16 ring spanner.! Easy when you know how, but v...

Re: Stuck in forward gear

Hi Dave, have been driving for a couple of weeks but noticed gearstick was sticking as it came out of reverse, will look at linkage later. It looks like it is stuck in top gear.

Stuck in forward gear

Just had engine and gearbox out for clutch renewal. Gone to take the car out today and has stuck in forward gear! Is this to do with linkage or something else?

T50 Ethanol in petrol

Just a point about the fuel in France. The petrol has 10 per cent Ethanol (E10) in France 5 per cent more than here. Do you think this will cause problems and is there anyway we can overcome this?

Thanks

Hi Martin, speak to Dave (Red Baron) about a place in Suffolk that replaces the centre with Stainless Steel. Other than that try Sunbeam spares

Ethanol in fuel

Having a fuel filter is a must these days as the Ethanol in the Petrol is taking small flakes from the fuel tanks and into the fuel lines. Has anyone fitted one before the Fuel Pump? I take it you would need a Stop Cock fitted as well to clean it out?

Cheers

2nd exhaust box

Has anyone fitted a 2nd exhaust box at the rear of their Tiger. If so where did you get it from? Just thinking it might be a bit quieter on the way to Monte.

Thanks Rob
