Hi
If you can find an Alpine overdrive switch, they mount on the left side of the steering column. If you wire it up for lights, it works just like a modern.

Any members traveling from down south to Cranleigh tomorow, who could meet up, I will be traveling up A31 or could do A3 and through the tunnel. the more Tigers in the tunnel the better the sound.

To start with adjusting the fuel mixture on a fixted venturi carburetor only set's the mixture at idle, as soon as you move the throtle the mixture is down to jet size and air flow. The CO% on idle should be about 1.5% +/- .5%. If you have a four gas emission tester as used in all UK MOT stations, y...

Just got home from the classic, a freind of mine was behind the crash, with the TVR and the Aston Martin in his 240z and had his lap's cut short because of it. I think he got some pic's so may be able to get them off him. I got on the next group for track lap's, due to a TVR owner on our site. His c...

Semi synthetic is not good for running in on older engines, but if run in, should not of done any harm. I think you should switch to 20/50 tho. Lucus or valvoline 20/50 are both very good, allso the lucas heavy duty oil stabilizer added will put you nearer the original spec for the 260 engine. I hav...

I gave my 90 deg adapter to a machinist, he took 3mm off the face, and re gut the groove for the "O" ring, then opend up the oil hole in the bolt, it now fit's behind the headers no problem.

Hi Pushrod
Take the wire off the sender, top of left hand tank, put the ignition on, then put the wire to earth/ground. If the gauge goes to the top, the fault is in the sender.
