Meadowhog, Is this a serious question? While the regulations have changed since the sixties, and even if there are exceptions with certain cars there is no way children 3+ should ever be unrestrained. Here's a question. If a Tiger is reshelled, should the JAL be fitted to the replacement shell? No. Started off with an SAL and should not be removed.After all, once an Alpine always an Alpine.
