I'd be very interested as well. Ignore the bandits, how much do you want?

Welcome to the Club. I used an ex-TVR Cosworth T5 gearbox. Advantage of TVR version is that gear stick is same distance as original Tiger [but central]
A few years ago they were about £350-400.
Dave's done good work on my car. Worth a visit.

Sounds great. You must be very pleased to have finally got to this stage. Look forward to seeing it in the flesh.

Hope your neighbours are more understanding than mine. I had to change from cherry bombs, which to me sounded great. But to them they were a public nuisance & I had to change them.

I thought 289 heads fitted a 260. I used to have Hi Po 298 heads on my 260.
But best get confirmation from an expert.

Looking good. You'll be on the road in no time. Nothing like a bit of sunshine as an incentive.

Don't get confused. Mines not quite typical, twin pumps, swirl pot, feed & return fuel lines. The methanol line goes a different route.

I also moved pump to spare wheel well. Never liked the idea of it sitting above the exhust. Also a tap & filter under boot floor. I then ran the pipe along underneath in the transmission tunnel & up above the middle of bell housing to come out behind the carb. I've added heat insulation to pipe unde...

If you really want to go for it, I've got electric water pump instead of belt driven. Means you still get full circulation even when idling in traffic. Never had issues since I fitted it.

A simple & effective mod is to blank off the horn holes either side of rad & seal gap below rad. All air entering through the grill then goes through the radiator & not spilling out around it. An electric fan on thermostatic switch is also invaluable.

Something to do with the starter. Chucked mine out years ago. Seems all right without it.

How about Revolution 4 or 5 slot? Available in 13, 14, 15". Used a lot on Fords, so PCD is no problem. Often found 2nd hand.
