Hi Maxtwee, what make of servo is fitted to your car ?,if it's original it will be a Girling manufactured unit and this may be the cause of the problem. Voltage Unit

Hi Mal,
yes that is the voltage stabiliser,just make sure that the earthing screw is tight and the area clean for a good earth when refitting as a bad earth will lead to false readings on the two gauges.

Hi Malcom,
can you be more specific as to ambient temps etc,could be that your carb needs to be tuned also check ignition settings,is your idle speed to low?
You may have to check carb fuel level height in fuel bowls,does it stall when you brake hard etc?
