cylinder heads
Does anyone know if Edelbrock have ever been approached in the U.S about manufacturing aluminium cylinder heads for the 260 engine? I know they make them for the 289 but maybe they don't think there would be much demand for the 260. I am sure that many Tiger owners would like to fit them.

rear spring bush
I understood that new bushes do not have the eccentric hole.
exhaust
I have a NOS L/H mild steel exhaust. R/H ones seem to be unavailable so I would like to have one made. Is the R/H system a mirror image of the L/H one? I know that the downpipes are different but I just need the R/H system as my downpipes are fine. The exhaust supplier says that if the R/H system is...

clutch
Because the diaphragm type clutch is of a lower height compared to the original centrifugal type I found that a longer pushrod was needed. I made this from a 5/16" x 4" UNF bolt and cut it to about an inch longer than the original pushrod.

throttle linkage brackets
My brackets were worn like this due to the original bushes perishing and allowing metal to metal contact some time in the past with a previous owner. I welded a 5/8 " I.D. washer to each bracket and made up my own bushes from a piece of nylon rod and pressed in to each washer. The original throttle ...

clutch slave cyl
The standard bracket bolts on using two of the bell housing bolts. Surely the simplest solution would be to get a standard bracket and a new slave cylinder. I don't know if there is much clearance to fit the bracket with the engine in situ. Splitting the box and bell housing is not necessary surely.

spark plug wires
My first Tiger in 1969 still had the original plug wires on it. 3 were 135 deg ends ( I think it was 1 , 2 and 8 ) and the rest were straight ends (3, 4 ,5, 6 and 7 ) I have noticed that Mac's Auto Parts in the USA are now selling reproduction sets exactly the same for about $50 for Ford 260 V-8 as ...

steering column U/J
I suspect that there is some wear in one or both lower steering column U/J s. What is the easiest way to remove the lower column?
badges
The previous owner of my tiger foolishly fitted some extra badges, such as V-8, and 4.2, possibly as used on some Jaguars. Can anyone think of a way to disguise the holes in the bodywork that the badges are pressed into ? I know that they could be welded up but then I would need to have the whole pa...

It may have been used at sometime in the past to pressurise the tank in order to check for leaks by immersing it in water and looking for bubbles.
