Thanks for the tips guys. Great idea using the masking tape. I had new rear wings fitted a few months ago and stupidly forgot to get the arch lips trimmed when they were fitted - doh! It's the O/S that rubs the most with mine. I fitted a Tom Hall Panhard Rod kit last year which allows the rod to be ...

I've just purchased and fitted a set of genuine Minilite wheels 6x15 (195/5x15 tyre) front and 7x15 (205/50x15 tyre) rear as per the guidance in past forum posts. There is also the option of the British made calipers from BCC. They utilise the existing discs and simply bolt on. I've had them on my Tiger for a year and I'm very pleased with the way they perform. Details in an earlier thread.

Here's a link to a video shot by Bengt Ericsson of his Tiger driving from Las Vegas to the Furnace Creek Resort in the middle of Death Valley. 38 deg C at 10.15 in the morning, his Tiger seemed to cope very well.

Hi Tony, thanks for the feedback.

Maybe Platinum plugs might be a compromise as they are supposed to have double the life of standard ones.

You'll be interested in the results. http://www.gtsparkplugs.com/CarbCFMCalc.html I have 650 cfm on my 347 stroker, and Sleath reckons that's still just too much, which was a real surprise! I came down from a full race HP 750 cfm setup. I checked the link out and it specified a 500cfm for my engine...

Brake Pads

Brake Pads - I used Mintex M1144 on my Tiger when I had the original calipers. They are a semi competition pad ideal for fast road or light track day use. Down side is they leave a lot of dust on the wheels and squeal a bit until warm. I used them on the Monte tour and they worked really well on all...

They cost around four times more than copper plugs so there may not be any financial advantage, however no...
