i think i may have used camcoat to do mine. based around manchester somewhere? i had them done in the black finish (its the most efficient) inside and out and they have been perfect for the past 18 months. big difference in under bonnet temps. they were very expensive if i remember rightly though - ...

with good strong stiff springs and koni shocks in place of the bolt on traction bars, i bet you won't get any wheel hop. works for me.

rear end remains quite supple and predictable compared to rigid bars too.

that accident didn't actually loose the bumper. i just locked a wheel on a patch of gravel that i didn't see in the dark and overshot the hairpin. the front wheels were hanging over a ditch before the wall and the car was resting on the sump guard. we had to dig a hole under the rear wheels by spinn...

well i just watched it all. loved the 1 minute in the middle with the tiger but the rest was irritating as hell :)

must have been great driving around brooklands.

can't help wondering why they made a pregnant woman trek across the hills with a lama and ride over cobbles in a sports car though...

i guess an alpine would fit :)

but, yes, the rebuild kit is the way to go. the teeth wear out over the years.
just need to take care that you peen the rivet nicely and flat and tight.

i use a mota lita too.
they make a hub and horn button for the tiger which makes it straightforward.

i have a quick ratio rack too and the steering effort is fine with 195 tyres and a little heavy on 245 tyres :)

i like the wheel.

i think they are all wider than a T5. i once asked tom hall about this. he has fitted the 5 and 6 speed tremecs to tigers (as well as being the source of the nicest T5 conversion kit).

if you need a more robust box, why not go back to the top loader? they'll take a right beating!

white tiger south of exeter on sunday

i was driving from bovey tracy to exeter on sunday morning and saw a white tiger pulled over by the side of the road (M5 or A38) on a bridge. sadly it was on the other side of the road or i would have stopped.

was it anyone on here? hope everything was ok.

goodwood revival (off topic)

no tigers, i know but i'm sure it'll interest a few of you. i asked charlie march why and he said they like to mix it up a bit each year.... i wonder if they'll ever 'mix' the DB4 zagato out one year? unfortunately my camera was accidentally stuck in high sensitivity mode (ISO 1600) all day so the p...
