Re: Oil pressure pipe

Re: Sunbeams North West summer run
Hi Jeff
I was hoping to attend this but looks like I've got a clash with another car show that weekend?
Hope the run goes well
Regards

Re: Possible Holley Carburetor troubles
Final Instalment (Hopefully) on the Holley Carb troubles I managed to re-assemble and refit my Holley Carb on Saturday, all pretty straight forward and I've replaced all the Major items, checked the Brass float is not holed, given everything a good clean and replaced all the relevant gaskets. A bit ...

Re: Possible Holley Carburetor troubles
Hi All I finally Managed to pluck up the Courage to have a look at my Over fuelling problem recently, removing the 2 Barrel Holley Carburettor was straight forward, Air cleaner off then disconnected the Throttle and Choke connections, removed the Vacuum advance and Fuel pipes and blanked off the Fue...

Re: temp sender
I haven't on a Tiger, but did test my Fuel Gauge on a 60's Triumph this way with no damage to the Gauge.
I think it depends on what type of Gauge it is?
Have you tried testing the temperature sender with a multi-meter?

Re: temp sender
Hi Have you got a Multi-meter? If so and the Sender unit is still fitted to the Engine, Set the Meter to 0-200 Ohm Scale for Resistance, then put one Test lead on the cable connection lug on the sender and the other to the body of the Sender, or a good earth connection locally on the engine, if you ...

Re: Brads Tiger
Brad Yes, I found I had to use the original Longer arm at the carb end to get full throttle opening of the Carburettor? It was a bit of a fiddle setting everything up too, so the throttle didn't jam up. I used some Oil-lite Bushes mounted in Rubber Grommet fixed to the original rod mounting brackets...

Re: Brads Tiger
Looks great Brad :D Did you make up all the Linkages yourself? I used a kit available from Alpine/Tiger Spares here in the UK in connection with one of the Original Arms at the Carb end. I've still not got round to looking at my Over-fuelling Holley Carb  , but I have got a rebuild kit and had...

Re: regulator box
Mine is fitted with Small Stainless Steel bolts, nuts and washers to the inner wing, around 2 BA Size I reckon?
These are new but presumably small Bolts & Nuts were used originally?

Jerry
Interesting to see that the Axle number quoted by Peter is one different to the axle fitted to my car!
My build date, Chassis and JAL numbers are all very near to yours as well, in fact they probably both went down the Jensen production line at the same time?
Marvelous
