Looks like a lovely job you are doing. How do you work with the rust remover ? Just applying and waiting/cleaning ? Basically although i stipple it in. It needs a lot of time as the gel easily dries out, the trick is to keep it damp with a spray bottle & clean it off completely after each coat othe...

Well i've been staying out of this one as it seems to be the old hands having a dispute, but what the hell. From my experience with classics, if there is a model based on the standard one which commands a premium there will always be someone trying to tart up an Alpine, Escort, Mini or whatever to t...

Lots of bits needed after engine fire

Has anyone got:

1. Chrome side strips
2. 260 badge
3. Sunbeam letters
4. Wooden dash
5. Wiring looms
6. False floors
7. S/S exhaust
8. Carpet set.
9. Electric fuel pump.
10. Radiator shroud

plus all the other rubber bits that melt in a fire.

cheers

Think i'm ok on where is goes back in as i can see old solder marks, will probably braze it in this time as everything else on the tank needs resoldering so don't want to go melting good solder out again.

Many thanks

Hope i'm not talking to myself on here, i need a bit of advise. The solder in the header tank melted in the fire, seems repairable now its circular again, but the return to the rad pipe seems too short, i'm sure that should reach to the bottom of the tank. http://i1212.photobucket.com/albums/cc451/B...
