Re: Best Oil for a Tiger

Thanks Adam

I've always used Penrite or Millers Classic Mineral type oils with good levels of ZDP on my previous Triumphs designed to run on 20W50 Grade Oils.

I'll keep my eyes peeled for some 15W40 Classic oil at the next Auto-jumble I visit.

Cheers

Best Oil for a Tiger

Can anyone recommend the Best Oil for a Tiger?

I've been advised mine is currently fitted with VR1 Oil by the PO.

It's getting ready for an Oil change soon.

Re: Cats Whiskers

Interesting reading Graham

My late Mk1 is fitted with Sunbeam V8 Badges not Alpine 260, is this correct?

Ok thanks, I've got a period Radio/Speaker Housing so will look for a decent 60's Radiomobile/Motorola radio.

Quite a few on E-Bay, some with I-Pod/MP3 Connection facilities too :D

Correct Period Radio for a Tiger

I'm thinking of fitting a Period Radio to my Tiger, can anyone confirm what was the normal model fitment?

I've seen some Motorola and Radiomobile radios on E-Bay but I want to try and get the correct model if I can?

Thanks

Steering Column Noise

Can anyone help with an annoying steering column rattle/knock I get when accelerating, its worst whilst turning and accelerating. The noise sounds like something catching the Column, I've checked all the mounting bolts and pinch bolts on the lower UJ's and all are tight. The steering wheel is also t...

Gary. It was well over priced at £30 to £40K when needing a total body restoration, a new interior and more - £25K is more like it. Graham It did look rough in the Photo's, especially the interior! It will be interesting to see what the Blue car goes for in the July Auction, that one looks a minter.
