Looking at how some were described on their log books nothing would surprise me.

It seems to have been like the wild west back then.

Ok. :D

I was on the ipad earlier and didn't notice the other pic of the front wing repair.
Looks very good.

Restoring a tiger is a crash course in all sorts of skills isn't it.

if you Google Sunbeam Alpine False Flloor and go to images you should see pics of the brackets. They each have a spire clip slipped onto them and the screw goes through 2 holes in the bottom of the false floor itself.

If you want pics and measurements let me know and I'll sort it later.

Hi Brad, It is held to the floor by 2 brackets that it screws to and simply leans against the bulkhead. The brackets are held to the floor by 2 pop rivets each. You should find 2 sets of 2 holes about ( working from memory here) about 2 inches apart, about 4 to 6 inches towards you from the bulkhead...

Not for a while.

This does remind me though. I must contact them about some leaf spring rubbers.

Nice pics GV.

That Mediterranean blue one looks perfect.
I'd be scared to go near it.

Hope you had a nice time.

Have you shorted the 2 leads to the switch and see if the lights work? As far as the number plate light goes, my car did have a lead to the center from the tail light. I haven't had time yet to check this out but I have been advised that it should go into the double connector. When I have a moment ...

Rear Number Plate Light Wiring.

This may sound like a silly question but mine often are. My rear number plate light has got a red wire coming out of it, about 2 to 3 feet long with a bullet connector on the end. I can't figure out where it connects to the loom. There is a double connector practically next to the light but I assume...

Good read.

It reminded me that I found this diagram a while back. Thought it might help others with part numbers.

Problem (hopefully) solved.

I needed the pin that holds the gear stick to the gear change linkage.

I'm going to make one.

Thanks all for your help.

Btw, the Toploader Heaven website is down and has been for a few days.
Hope they're still in business.

Toploader Parts

Is there anywhere in the UK that sells toploader parts? Thanks.
