Your Tiger looked great! :D

Was all the Police kit (and Black Rat sticker) on there when you bought it?

Re: Tac

If buyers took the time to investigate the car they are buying there would be no need for a TAC system. Rob That's easy to say ,but as someone who has bought a Tiger in the last year, I can tell you that the information required to 'investigate the car' is extremely hard, if not nigh on impossible ...

Not Quite. One of my other cars is a Triumph Vitesse convertible. It started life off as a saloon, but in 1989 someone removed the rear body from the chassis and bolted on a convertible tub (relatively easy on these). The car is indistinguishable from a genuine convertible apart from the chassis num...

Well, Tiger or not, it's certainly no longer 'ONE OF THE LAST 5 TIGERS TO LEAVE JENSON ON 27/6/1967 LAST DAY OF PRODUCTION' is it? It never saw the Jenson factory.

All sorted, thanks very much! The rear shocks were also from the 82 series; 82-134, so were adjusted in the same way.

Thanks for the link. My front shock absorbers are different to the ones shown on page ten. The only numbers I can find stamped into the body of them are 82 1347 8712. Makes me wonder wonder if they're a different type to the ones normally fitted.

Koni Adjustable Shock Absorbers

My car has Koni adjustable shocks fitted. I assume that they are adjusted by turning the ring with two holes in at the top of the shock. Where can I get the tool to make this adjustment? A Google search has told me the tool is called a gland nut tool, but I can't find anywhere in the UK to buy one f...

Thanks Martin. I knew that one was available, but mine is really shot with all the joints showing considerable wear. If I have to I'll go down that path, but I'd rather just get a good 2nd hand one, more for ease than anything else.

Wanted: Window Regulator

I'm after a good drivers side window winder/regulator mechanism for my MkI Tiger. Both the cog and quadrant have had it on mine.

Please let me know if you have one you'd be willing to sell.

Thanks

Goodwood Revival

Hi,

Is anyone going to the Goodwood Revival, and if so are you taking your Tiger?

I'll be there on the Saturday, not sure if I'll be in the Tiger.

Michael,

Thank you for taking the trouble to post the photos. Yet another thing to add to the shopping list! At least I know what I am looking for now. Like I said before, knowing what is missing is half the battle.
