Celebrity Antiques Roadshow Tiger, BBC2 Thursday night

Hi all, having just watched it tonight, featuring a red Mk1a Tiger ECW 834 D I looked on here first to see if there was already a thread started on this unusual Tiger.... Found nothing, so started a thread myself instead..... This appears to be a Mk 1A, with square corner panels, and vinyl hood cove...

A friend of mine had a series 5 Alpine registered MOT 151 L

it had come in from the Channel Isles, and I believe still exists.
"OT" was a Southampton, Hants, registration.

Are you sure those big balls are not something left over from "The Prisoner" series, with Patrick McGoohan ? I think Godfrey Green could
be responsible for them being where they are, now..... he has been known to slope off in his Tiger to Portmeiron from time to time :lol:
