i used to have a bettery isolator in the boot which i then locked so no one could get to the battery...also a hidden fuel feed switch and a in line tap for the fuel line.... but neither of these worked if someone towed it away as i did not have a steering lock...... on ebay you can buy a GPS trackin...

i was alway told there were 2 hard tops.
if you ordered when new the mk1 cars were the same colour as the car.
if you ordered new on MK1a and mk11 or you ordered it after you had taken delivery they were black... might be wrong but sure someone will advise

i have modified 289 under my hood and alloy rad and flexi fan and pair of kenlowe fans do the job. if anything with lat option bonnet it runs too cool, i only use electric fans in traffic manually or temp switch,,,,,,,lat bonnet alloy rad and flexifan is the way to go..dom

Has anyone fitted the above? I am wondering if I have fitted it the right way, as there is not much room between the blade and top radiator hose. Do the rounded ends face the rad, with the cups so to speak facing the engine? flexifan worth the effort.works a treat. they do run real close to top rad...
