Michael, The car has the original headers placed back in 80-81 when the 289 was put in the car. No resonator, thus straight pipes except for the Delta Flows. Exhaust is 2in. I almost decided to replace the entire system with a a 2.25 system with inserts instead of a muffler, but these flowmasters ar...

Robin, They are the Delta Flows and they are superb. Resonance definitely not an issue. I cannot recommend them enough as they have completely transformed my driving experience. I feel that the Tiger could quite nicely substitute for Mcqueen's 390 gt fastback in Bullitt with the new soundtrack. Here...

Hi guys, I have just returned from picking up the Tiger with the new 40 series Flowmasters fitted and the sound is simply stunning. The car sounds fantastic and it has made the entire driving experience superlative. I could not recommend these mufflers enough. They are certainly loud, but if one is ...

Excellent point on the semantic angle Martin:) As the paint is original it certainly possesses decided patina especially up close, but it gives the car such wonderful character. In both Connecticut and New York State one must possess both front and rear license plates, which unlike the wonderful one...

Hello Martin, Many thanks for your kind works about the car. I do not believe they are the original springs. The original 260 was removed in 1980 and replaced with a completely rebuilt 289 at which time I believe the springs were changed. Its such a marvelous car to drive and my absolute favorite. G...

Hi guys, Here are a few more. The radio is an original Sunbeam model. It does'nt work at the moment, but its a nice piece to have all the same as it adds wonderfully to the interior. The steering wheel and dash have cracks, but I shall not change anything in the interior. Hope you like the car. The ...

HI guys, I thought I might try my hand at posting a few of my pictures. Hopefully this works. I'm picking up my Tiger tomorrow morning having just had a new exhaust system installed. Its had very restrictive mufflers on since purchase and I have just installed a series of 40 series Flowmasters for a...

Hello gentleman, I have just joined this truly wonderful site. I currently own a 1966 MK1A Tiger that I purchased approximately two years ago. The car has never been restored and still maintains its original midnight blue paint as well as its body coloured hardtop and original interior. Most unfortu...
