The original ones are nice and if its colour matched even better! Just make sure you inspect it thoroughly for repairs and rust in the usual areas before you buy it.

Yes that IS bad but they usually need lots of metal.
With regard to the good hard top it is more what you are prepared to pay for it?

Hi Gary Most original steel hardtops available for restoration will need much work to make good. Lots of complex curves and tricky and expensive to restore properly. Some of the repair sections aren't great and the hardtop really needs to be repaired whilst on the car to ensure it will fit correctly...

IIRC this car was sold by Martin Pester a few years ago and was incomplete. Bodyshell, f+r axle, steering column only? The car was Arctic White and was believed to be a genuine Tiger. I think it was purchased by a cameraman for ITN but cant remember his name now. His intention was to restore it hims...

Think I have sorted it? My original Tiger door has a hole 3" from the front edge then a hole every 6.5" Rear wing I measured 1.5" in from front edge then marked for a hole. Then mark every 6.5" and the last hole is approximately 1.5" from the edge of the sunbeam sheild. Just the front wings to sort ...

As my car has had new front and rear wings fitted could someone please tell me how many clips fasten the stainless strips to the wings and how far from the edges the holes start?
