haha, yes. old tyres is not a problem i will likely suffer from any time soon! i get about 1-2000 miles from a set of 225/45 16 toyo R888s on the tiger :)

13 inch? the last set of dunlop 185/70 13s i had on the tiger lasted me two weeks / 5000 miles.

you don't need a choke at all. there are several good books on holleys but the the haynes holley carburetor manual is sufficient unless you get into modifying the carb. make sure the floats are working and set correctly first. they have a habit of getting fuel logged and sinking. next renew or check...

Crystal Palace

For the first time in many years (11?) racing was back at the Palace this weekend. The weather was cold and cloudy but that didn't prevent a great time being had by all. they were from other rootes cars. late model minx i think and maybe more. the vertical link is the same but the spindle comes out higher up, lowering the front of the car without shortening suspension travel and allowing more clearance of the upper wishbone for large wheels. i have comparison photos...
