Hi, my name is Martin and I live near Nottingham.

Welcome aboard Martin, try to make contact with "Ash" he's on the forum also and he lives in your area and may be able to help you to inspect a car if you do find one to your budget. I know Ash has had and restored a Tiger before and knows his stuff so will have an invaluable knowledge of what to look out for in a Tiger. Wink

Thanks for those kind words of confidence Tony. I will try to live up to your endorsement Laughing

I did speak with Martin who wants to see some cars and is sorting something out with Dean I think?

Cheers

Hi Ash, yeah, I spoke to Dean earlier.
We were on the phone for ages. He must have been sick of my questions by the end of the call. Laughing

Like when I spoke to you, I learnt a lot of things and he gave me an idea of what to expect.
Every day is a school day at the moment.

Best avoid that Gary bloke [from Southport ,so must be iffy] I would offer no more than £18000 for his Mk 2. It looks good from 20 yds, but don't go closer.

Hi Nigel, thanks for the info.
So, you have a Tiger for sale? If so, what's it like?
Could you provide some details about it please?

Cheers mate!

I'll take it off your hands for £18000, but is it ok to carry a triple ladder on top & a bike on the boot strapped to the roll bar like mine? Can it go 12 months without a wash? If not , no use to me.

My car is unique, flattered by the thought of replicas. I think I have the only original LAT supercharger & MP3 player options on mine. They are not Mazda seats but LAT 288 sports option. Gary, its yours for £60,000 & I'll throw in the original MDF radio console, complete with boost gauge.

I've done it. I got myself a Tiger. Very Happy

All I have to do now is spend the next 10 years understanding what is where and it's moods.
This does of course mean a mountain of questions for you guys and gals......sorry. Embarassed

Hi Martin,

Well done!! That is great to hear and you will absolutely love it. You didn't waste any time finding one. What condition is it in? Can you post any pictures of your new toy?

Regards, Robin.

Hi Robin, thanks. Very Happy

I doesn't seem to have taken that long to get one, but it was simply circumstance and nothing else. The right place at the right time I suppose.

I'll put some pics up later, but I need to recharge the camera battery first.

Martin.

Yes well done Martin, and all the best with it. You will need to learn fast about the car because everytime you take it anywhere you will be asked plenty of questions by passers by. Of course thats halve the fun.
Cheers.

Here it is...........it hasn't got a name yet. Actually that's not true, but all of the names it's had upto now are not printable lol.

The keener eyed amongst you will note the figure of Mr Keith Hampson skulking in the background, part of that dynamic duo, Hampson & Postle.
The pic is taken outside the Tiger cave. Very Happy

Thanks for those kind words Mal, I'm learning as we speak.
