Sold by Jeff Howarth  restoration started June 2nd 2003 with full imaged history of restoration and receipts

for all parts and services used during the 2 year restoration by David Turner MD of WBC Automotive ltd based in Bristol.

This immaculate Sunbeam Tiger winner of several awards inc Shelby personalised class is now offered for sale

with desirable spares inc renovated hard top, original renovated steering wheel and original 260 engine and a host of spares.

Bodywork, vehicle stripped to shell all paint removed (soda blasted) then mounted onto 360deg jig with all corrosion

removed, underside modified to accept stronger panard rod mounts and comp exhaust system and all chassis sections

boxed with stronger inner sills, floor panels did not require work. The outer body was fitted with new front panels with

rad panel modified to improve air flow, new front wings new sills new door skins new rear wings and new inner rear wings.

Front chassis legs and engine carrier modified to improve Ackermann angle. Door hinges re-pinned bonnet fitted with air

intake (sim to LAT bonnet but beautiful) the shell was then seam sealed epoxy primed and underside sprayed with protective

rubber coat prior to top coat. The vehicle was then sprayed in Red whilst rotated 360% so the underside is as good as the top.

Then re-flatted and lacquered to provide the perfect stunning finish.

All chrome was triple plated and stainless items polished, trimmed in black Connelly hide with red piping and carpets black

with red piping finished with mohair hood and tourno in black with beige inner. New dash with Mota-lita wheel on ali billet centre.

New heater etc. All suspension has been up-rated with chassis tuning by Andy Robinson Race Cars, brake system has also been

modified with 6 pot light weight race callipers on billet hubs and large 2 pot callipers with hand brake on rear and fuel lines change

for Aeroquip along with brake and engine hoses. Wheels are manufactured 16inch Panasport Racing and a full stainless 2.25inch

exhaust system with 4 silencers mate to 2inch Headers ali coated with balance pipe. Radiator and oil cooler header tank and

washer bottle are all aluminium by Brise Fabrications, engine is fitted with stainless engine fan ensure the engine never over-heats

even in thick traffic, but there is a kenlow if required. Rear Axle has been rebuilt by Andy Robinson Race Cars with new crown

wheel and Quaiffe limited slip diff and new seals, also prop have been altered. Gearbox is new 5 speed with hydraulic release

bearing and McCloud comp clutch fitted to balanced bomb proof fly wheel. Engine was built by Warrior Racing, and is overbored

302 with balanced crank Carrillo rods and Ross pistons on decked block with Edelbrock aluminium Performer RPM heads

triple angle valves aluminium roller rockers on Dyno matched Cam and Valvetrain roller timing chain set. Holley carb and alloy covers.
